My sunken house

On the night of 06.06.2023, russian occupation troops blew up the Kakhovska Hydroelectric Power Plant (Kakhovska Dam) from the inside. Thousands of cubic metres of water rushed into the south of Ukraine, into my home region and city. As of the evening of June 07 (Ukrainian time), many villages were fully or partially flooded, and part of the city of Kherson itself was also in the water. On the left bank, which is still occupied by russian terrorists, civilians are trying to survive in the attics or roofs of their homes. There are also dead, drowned people, and most of them pensioners. The occupants do not allow people to evacuate even on their own, they do not allow people to go to more distant settlements from the water. On the right bank, where the city of Kherson itself is located, the Ukrainian military and rescuers are carrying out evacuations of residents and animals as water continues to flow in. And all this under shelling. My neighbourhood is in this muddy, horrible water

I think many watchers have noticed that I have been a bit more "lively" lately and I am trying to draw and post something. I do not want to grumble about my studies, exams, work and life, so I will be brief. I am really trying to get back into the artistic mainstream and I really hope I succeed. So, while I am rocking and tuning up a bit, I have persuaded myself to try to make a Patreon. You can find two subscription stages on the page, which include a variety of features and exclusive content (such as preview sketches for future works, there will also be with pre-access timelapses available in the future, a gift sketch, as well as much more). For book lovers, I will even have a little "column". I will share my reading process and book (and other) plans. My Patreon: patreon.com/Della_vt Darlings, I really hope you will support my idea. ;)

I wish the news from this post were more positive. However, we have what we have. I'm sorry, but there will be a lot of text. And the lion's share of the information will concern politics. On February 24, at 5 am, a war began in my country, in my Ukraine. The Russian Federation attacked my country on the orders of a crazed government that brazenly lies to its citizens, silences the media and speaks complete nonsense. They decided to "liberate" the "Russian-speaking cities" and bring the "Russian peace". I myself live in a Russian-speaking city, in Kherson, which is in the south of Ukraine and borders on the annexed Crimea. My family is Russian-speaking, there are many Russian merchants and nobles on my mother's side. I have friends in Russia and people who I respect. I have never felt infringed in my country due to the fact that my main language of communication is Russian. I know Ukrainian very well, I'm just used to communicating in Russian. I am studying to be a translator and
